PICK Everard has added to its framework portfolio following the successful appointment to the City of London Corporation’s project management framework.

The framework – which features two value lots – was set up to support the delivery of construction related projects for various sites owned or managed by The City. One of only 12 suppliers, Pick Everard has been appointed to provide full project management services on Lot 2, which covers projects with a fee value between £326,000 and £1.5m.

John Clarke, director and lead for the framework at Pick Everard, said: “We are really pleased to be appointed to such a key framework for our work in London and the surrounding area. Our focus will be to help diversify and continuously improve those sites owned or managed by The City, and to use our expertise to drive efficiencies and deliver the expert standard of service we are known for at Pick Everard.

“As well as expanding our portfolio of work, the appointment will also provide the opportunity to grow our project management team in the capital further – which will enable us to pass on even greater expertise to the City of London Corporation.

“While this is a project management framework, stakeholders utilising our appointment will still be able to benefit from our expertise as a firm in other disciplines too. Our multi-disciplinary nature as a firm allows us to provide added value, being able to draw on our in-house experts to drive efficiencies on all the projects we deliver. And ultimately, this allows us to save costs, while maintaining a diamond standard of delivery.”

Adrian Ceney, partner at Pick Everard, said: “This is a great appointment for us at Pick Everard, and the successful bid will allow us to maintain and develop existing relationships with the City of London Corporation, as well as to forge new ones too.

“The City of London Corporation has such a varied portfolio – from commercial offices to arts and educational facilities – providing a large scope of work for our team, which has a great deal of experience across the board in these sectors. The client will be greatly advantaged by John’s expertise as well. Having been promoted to director in late 2020, he has extensive experience across multiple sectors, putting him in the perfect position to lead all activities across this wide-reaching framework.”

Pick Everard employs more than 500 staff across its 13 offices, providing a range of project, cost, and design consultancy services. For more information, please visit www.pickeverard.co.uk.
