HBV Group, the specialist supported living developer, has appointed Triton Construction on two projects in Derbyshire valued at more than £5.3 million.
Triton will deliver a £2.5 million scheme in Swadlincote and a £2.8 million scheme in Ilkeston, which both form part of HBV Group’s growing pipeline of supported living developments across the UK.
HBV Group collaborates with local authorities, registered providers, care providers and investors to deliver new-build accommodation. To date it has delivered more than 1,200 individual properties across 58 schemes in the UK.
Last month, HBV Group announced that it had secured funding from AEW UK Real Return Fund to deliver these latest projects. The developer awarded the design and build contracts for both schemes to Triton Construction following the success of a previous partnership together in delivering a project of 16 self-contained, supported living apartments and a complex care facility for 10 residents in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Triton is delivering the full turnkey solution for both projects which include full fit out, and associated external works for parking, landscaping, service installations and highways alterations.
Paul Clarkson, Managing Director at Triton Construction, said,
“We are delighted to secure two further projects with HBV Group after the successful completion of our scheme in Bradford. These specialist developments require very specific installations to support people with learning and physical disabilities and provide an opportunity for those most vulnerable to live independent lives. We have built a strong and trusting partnership with HBV Group to become a preferred construction partner and we are looking forward to working with them in 2022.”
Neil MacKrell, Construction Director at HBV Group, said:
“We are pleased to appoint Triton to deliver these two important supported living developments in Derbyshire. When we appoint construction partners on our developments, we undergo a detailed evaluation of their experience and skillsets. The team at Triton have the attributes we’re looking for to deliver these two schemes which will change the lives of vulnerable adults in Derbyshire. Both of these developments are tangible examples of how we are setting new standards in the supported living sector in terms of design and build.”
Triton expects to complete both projects by September 2022.
